Marjorie painted 2 beautiful works for us! The first was a scene of Sumter Landing here in The Villages, FL. The lake, water, surrounding buildings and the lighthouse were so beautiful. Marjorie has a real talent for depicting a lovely scene with the clouds, sky and the serenity of the The Villages.

The 2nd painting is the view from our apartment in St. Louis. It is a view of the skyline and she has a beautiful view of Clayton and the high rise buildings and the skyline of this growing suburb. She is a most talented painter.

My wife and I fell in love with a Great Blue Heron painting in a local shop and asked the proprietor if the artist had a Great White Egret painting and she shared the artist's business card. We called the artist Marjorie Dodrill to have a matching size of the egret to hang with the heron, but she didn't have one but offered to create one for us.

Marjorie was a joy to work with. She came to our home for an initial visit to see the surrounding landscape with a pond and discuss the details. Marjorie eliminated all of the visible roads and houses so that we had a more natural scene. We also ordered the giclee of the heron with the original oil painting of the egret in a matching size to complete our wall. Marjorie completed the painting in a a timely manner and the background of the painting matches the landscape that is visible.

I love the two paintings I have purchased from Marjorie Dodrill. I have received many complements from friends and family on both pieces. The floral is a beautiful red hibiscus with the dappled sunlight beaming through the petals.

The seascape shows an early morning sunrise piercing the mist as the waves roll in. Marjorie Dodrill's pictures make it feel like you are there.

I purchased a painting from Marjorie Dodrill a few years ago. I love my painting! It is of a gorgeous yellow and gold Lily! My family room is bright and joyful due to Marjorie's painting! The details are beautiful and it catches the light to reveal different looks throughout the day. Her painting is my treasure!
